A partnership between Monument Square Investment Group and ARTISAN Capital Group has acquired College Town Oxford (the “Property”). The Property is a 2013-2016-vintage, 1,018-bed (268-unit) cottage-style student housing community located in Oxford, MS approximately 1.7 miles west of the University of Mississippi campus.

A joint venture between Monument Square Investment Group (“MSIG”), Connecticut Realty Trust, and Krown Point Capital (“collectively the “JV”) has acquired an entitled 53.8-acre build-to-rent development site in Bloomfield, CT. The project will mark the partnership’s second investment under its broader programmatic platform.

Connecticut Realty Trust recently completed its roughly $25 million “Grand Luxury Homes” project in Granby, which features 23 duplex-style houses and 19 single-family homes available for rent. The development was completed in June and fully leased by August, Kligerman, said.

Trulo Homes Quail Village, a single-family, rentals-only neighborhood, the first such development in OKC, is well under way with more than a dozen homes leased at 2145 Watermark Blvd. The project is a joint venture by Dallas-based Red River Development and Monument Square Investment Group in Beverly Hills, California.

The owners of a 333,572-square-foot warehouse have sold the asset for nearly double what they paid for it just two years ago, adding to the high sales volume in Southern California. MDH Partners paid $112.3 million, or $337 per square foot, for the Harvill Avenue Logistics Center in the Inland Empire, according to data provided by Vizzda.

The City Council unanimously approved the developers’ plan to build apartments and 38,000 square feet of retail across the 14-acre former City Place Long Beach at a meeting on Tuesday night.

New York-based Turnbridge Equities, Newport Beach-based Waterford Property Company and Monument Square Investment Group, based in Beverly Hills, have unveiled plans for 900 new apartments and 30,000 square feet of shops and restaurants at the open-air mall, the Long Beach Business Journal reported. The trio of real estate investors acquired the beleaguered shopping center in March of last year through the sale of a $63 million loan.

A complete renovation is coming to a large portion of the Downtown Long Beach shopping center formerly known as City Place. The team behind the reimagined development, which was rebranded as Mosaic earlier this year, unveiled its plans for the project to the local community on Thursday evening. Waterford, along with Turnbridge Equities and Monument Square Investment Group, announced the joint acquisition of the shopping district in March 2021.
