Paul Valente is a Partner and the Chief Financial Officer of MSIG and is primarily responsible for managing the firm’s portfolio-level and corporate accounting and finance functions, controls and compliance.

Paul oversees and directs the audit, tax, fund administration and financial reporting to investors and stakeholders for all investment vehicles managed by the firm. Paul is actively involved in the ongoing asset and risk management of the firm’s investment portfolio.

Paul is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and previously served on two non-profit boards, including a role as Secretary of the RSM Boston Foundation.

Prior Experience

Prior to forming MSIG, Paul was the Chief Financial Officer at Township Capital where he led the corporate and investment-level finance and accounting as well as all fund administration, tax and audit functions.

Prior to joining Township, Paul was a Manager in RSM US LP’s assurance practice in Boston. At RSM, Paul managed financial statement audits of institutional real estate private equity funds and property-level joint ventures.

Education

Paul received a B.S. in Corporate Finance and Accounting and a M.B.A. from Bentley University in Waltham, MA.
